Guidelines and Information

General Information

Unfortunately, neither taxis nor buses will be available to get to the open house; however, shuttle
services will be offered at our designated parking locations.

Many procedures are in place to protect all attendees. Laughlin AFB works very closely with local and
federal authorities and enforces all required security rules and regulations. You will notice extra security
at the open houses, both military and civilian, and vehicles/personnel are subject to screening at any

Our leadership and those who are responsible for planning the event and its various performances take
the safety of the public very seriously, and have implemented necessary measures accordingly.

There are no security restrictions on cameras, video cameras, or cell phones. However, large camera
bags are not permitted. Bring only necessary camera equipment, leaving extra attachments at home. A
small fanny pack or camera vest is useful for carrying extra film and small lenses.

Event Hours
Entrance to all performances is FREE and open to the public – no tickets are required, however, visitors
should carry identification.

Strollers will be hand-searched at the security checkpoint. Please bring only necessary items in a small
diaper bag, subject to hand-search at the security checkpoint.

Large diaper bags will not be permitted. You can return to your vehicle during the show to get extra
clothes, restock diaper items, etc.

At The Event
Entrance to all performances is FREE and open to the public – no tickets are required. All visitors should
carry identification.

There will be random vehicle and bag searches upon entry.

Military members are asked to plan around air show traffic accordingly when using the Commissary and
Exchange, and that if they must use those facilities, to please use the West gate for access.

Smoking is allowed, but only in designated areas (NOT ON THE FLIGHT LINE)

No pets are allowed, however service dogs are permitted. In the event that the air show noise or
conditions are not suitable for your service companion, you are permitted to leave the air show area and
re-enter as needed.
